We got the following message from Sandy, one of our sisters in Christ:
Last wednesday night at 9:32pm, Samantha Victoria Multhauf was born. She is beautiful and the most amazing blessing I have ever received. Please let everyone at the Bible study know. She weighs 7pounds 10 ounces and is 21.5 inches long. We came home on Friday and we're both doing just fine. I'm attaching two pictures, feel free to forward.
Have a great week and tell everyone I said hello. I really miss going to the wednesday Bible studies. Perhaps in a few weeks, Samantha and I will come to visit.

Nathan was born on june 28th @ 5:27PM and weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces.
Both baby and mom are doing fine.

He was born on June 17th, 2004 and measured 7 lbs, 4 oz at 21 inch.

Nate Pyles' Ireland Mission
Monday, May 17 @ 14:09:30 PDT by kristian (254 reads) | Our brother in Christ, Nathan Pyles, will be entering the mission field in Ireland. Nate and his wife, Jeannette, will be leaving for Ireland in June for a 2-year mission. Please pray that God would go before them on this mission trip.
Excerpt from their mission statement:
"There is a great need for solid Bible teaching in Ireland. Few Irish churches have this as their focus. It seems there is either Roman Catholicism (with its traditions focused away from Christ) or legalistic “health & wealth” gospel groups that put emphasis on experience rather than true biblical doctrine. Our passion is to teach the Bible to the Irish people verse-by-verse, line-by-line, precept upon precept."

In this study we have seen the formation of the early church. Beginning with prayer and waiting upon the Lord, then the day of Pentecost came and fire came down on the people gathered together for prayer. They began speaking in other tongues, proclaiming the wonders of God. Peter spoke under the power of the Holy Spirit and preached to them Jesus and the fulfillment of the scriptures and the Bible tells us that 3000 were added to their number that day. It is an exciting account of the early church and formation of the church government. Our studies have been so informative and challenging with regard to our own commitment to hearing the Holy Spirit and being filled with him and to obeying the Holy Spirit.
Come and join the Wednesday Bible study that we might sharpen one another and grow together in the knowledge of the word of God.
